Accessibility Statement

Published 19 October 2026. Version 1.0.

runwithian is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, whatever their ability or the technology they use. This statement covers www.runwithian.com, which is operated by Runwithian Limited.

1. Our Standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, which is the standard referenced by the UK Equality Act 2010, the European Accessibility Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act. The site is built on Wix, whose platform provides keyboard navigation, screen reader support, visible focus indicators and responsive layouts as standard.

2. What We Have Done

  • Every page has a single descriptive main heading and a logical heading structure

  • Text and background colours meet the AA contrast ratio, including on the navy and off white backgrounds we use throughout

  • Meaningful images carry alternative text; decorative images are hidden from assistive technology

  • All forms have visible labels, clear required field markers and error messages that explain what to fix

  • The site can be used with a keyboard alone, and the order in which elements receive focus follows the order on the page

  • Text can be resized to 200% without loss of content or function, and the site works in portrait and landscape on phones and tablets

  • Links and buttons use text that makes sense out of context, for example "Request a Meeting" rather than "click here"

3. Known Limitations

We are honest about where we fall short, and we are working on it:

  • The hero sections on the Home and Coaching pages use short, silent, looping background videos. They carry no information and have no sound, but the Wix platform does not provide a pause control for background video. If you have reduced motion enabled in your operating system, the videos may still play. We review this with every Wix release and will add a pause control as soon as the platform allows it

  • Our ebooks are supplied as PDF files. They are produced with real text (not scanned images) and a logical reading order, but older titles may not be fully tagged for screen readers. If you need an ebook in an alternative format, email us and we will provide one at no extra cost

  • The checkout, basket and member login are provided by Wix and we cannot change their underlying code; Wix publishes its own accessibility statement for these components

4. Tell Us If Something Is Not Working

If you find a page you cannot use, a document you cannot read or anything else that gets in your way, please tell us. We treat accessibility problems as a priority and will respond within five working days.

  • Email: ian.baynes@runwithian.com

  • Phone: +44 7885 625426

  • Post: Runwithian Limited, 2 Manor Farm, Pound Lane, Little Rissington, Cheltenham, GL54 2NB

Please tell us the page address, what you were trying to do and the browser or assistive technology you were using. If we cannot fix the problem quickly we will give you the content in another way.

5. Enforcement

In the UK, the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) is responsible for enforcing the Equality Act 2010. If you are not happy with how we respond to your complaint, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) at www.equalityadvisoryservice.com.

6. How This Statement Was Prepared

This statement was prepared on 19 October 2026 following an audit of every public page using automated testing (axe-core, WCAG 2.2 rules) and manual keyboard and screen reader checks. It will be reviewed every six months and whenever the site changes significantly.
