Service Description

This guided by Ian, circular 23-mile (37km) Warwickshire trail run starts and finishes on Marston Lane in Bedworth, Warwickshire and takes in sections of both the The Coventry Canal and The Ashby De La Zouch Canal plus beauty spots Hartes Hill Hayes, Caldecote, Higham on the Hill, Whitestone and Bramcote finishing just North of Bulkington at Marston Jabbett. The route is run predominantly run on footpath and canal towpath. Budget for approx. 5-7 hours running time. Distances are timings approximate and may change on the day due to weather conditions. Target pace = 13-14 minutes/mile or 8:00/km Approx. elevation gain for the day = 1076ft or 328m. Expect to pack your hydration or trail running vest for a half day out and bring enough food and water to fuel your efforts. Trail shoes are advised but not necessary in dry spells; a hat, waterproofs and gloves too in winter or inclement weather. Groups are limited to 8 runners. The focus is on fun and enjoyment.
