Run A Coventry Way in 2022 with Ian and without getting lost
The route is ideal for those wanting to run their first 65km plus #ultra distance in a safe and guided environment. The 'A Coventry Way' Guided Trail runs start at 06:55am sharp in Abbey Fields and will take all day.
You are expected to bring, food, water and appropriate clothing as you would on any run. Budget up to 12 hours of trail time depending on weather and running conditions.
The plan is to walk the uphill sections (and eat whilst walking) and to jog/run the flat or downhill sections whilst averaging a 11-18 minute per mile pace depending on the group and weather conditions.
For those of you who sign-up, I will issue detailed joining instructions in advance re: kit, nutrition and some guidance notes with the aim of answering your questions.
